For thousands of years in the serene paradise of Redland Bay existed a
cluster of tropical islands blessed with breathtaking beauty. The
Quandamooka people, deeply connected to their land, thrived on these
islands surrounded by crystal clear saltwater that sparkled like diamonds
under the sun. Beaches, adorned by white sand, stretched endlessly,
Children splashed in the gentle waves, catching creatures in the tidal pools.
Unique to this paradise was the sight of freshwater streams trickled into the
saltwater, creating a mesmerizing blend of colors. The tea tree forests nearby
contributed to this magic, infusing the waters with a warm, golden hue that
reflected the sunlight. Life on the islands was simple yet rich the
Quandamooka people honored their traditions, cultivating a deep respect for
the land and sea that provided them sustenance.
